We are so proud to announce the second annual Lawson-Perry Foundation Do Good Scholarship. At the heart of our foundation is the overwhelming desire and mandate to Do Good in our communities. This scholarship was created to highlight, inspire, and challenge students within our community to do just that! Our Do Good Scholarship is an extension of our heart and commitment to our community. The Lawson-Perry Foundation Do Good Scholarship is one $500 scholarship and will be awarded to one high school senior. The applicant, along with an application and transcript, must complete a 500-word, double-spaced, 12-point font essay that delivers and details “What It Means to Use Your Influence to DO GOOD”.
This scholarship is only open to High School Seniors in Sumter, Greene, and Marengo Counties in Alabama. Applications open on August 1, 2022, and the deadline to apply is August 31, 2022.
To apply:
- Student must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
- Must complete a 500-word, double-spaced, 12-point font essay on “What It Means to Use Your Influence to Do Good”
